Why teams choose Fund My Squad over GoFundMe
Tickets, auctions, raffles and products
GoFundMe is a donation page. Fund My Squad runs your whole season: ticketed events with QR check-in, silent and open auctions, raffles, and candy fundraisers with fulfillment.
You receive what supporters give
GoFundMe deducts 2.9% + $0.30 from every donation and the donor cannot cover it. On Fund My Squad processing is included in the supporter total by default, so a $100 gift arrives as $100.
No 5% recurring surcharge
GoFundMe adds a 5% fee on recurring donations. Fund My Squad charges organizers nothing extra for monthly supporters.
Squads and member pages
Every player gets a page, every squad gets a leaderboard, and your donor CRM keeps the contacts for next season. GoFundMe team pages stop at the campaign.

Where GoFundMe is a fine choice
GoFundMe is a fine choice for a one-off personal cause: medical bills, an emergency, a memorial. It has enormous reach, donors recognize it, and there is nothing to set up beyond the page itself. It is not built to run a season of events for a team.
