Why teams choose Fund My Squad over RallyUp

💵

0% on tickets, auctions and raffles

RallyUp's tip-free Flex plan charges 2.9% on ticketing, 4.9% on auctions and 6.9% on raffles. Fund My Squad is 0% for organizers on all of them; ticket buyers pay a flat $1 per ticket.

🧾

Processing included, not deducted

RallyUp deducts processing from the organizer by default. On Fund My Squad it is included in the supporter total, so a $25 ticket pays out $25 and a $100 gift pays out $100.

📱

An organizer app built for the door

Offline check-in with auto-sync, Apple and Google Wallet passes, and Tap to Pay, cash and comp walk-up sales on iOS and Android. RallyUp documents QR check-in but not an app, Tap to Pay or offline mode.

Where RallyUp is a fine choice

RallyUp is a fine choice for a charitable group running a sweepstakes or a large raffle, where its compliance tooling and experience are the point, or for a nonprofit that wants a tip-free checkout and is happy to pay per-feature platform fees on the Flex plan.

Common questions

Is Fund My Squad really free? RallyUp has a free plan too.
Both have a 0% platform fee option. RallyUp's Free plan is 0% with a suggested donor tip, and processing (2.9% + $0.30, or 1.9% for nonprofits) is paid by the organizer by default. Its Flex plan turns tips off and charges 2.9% to 6.9% depending on the feature. Fund My Squad has one price: 0% for organizers on donations, products, auctions and raffles, a flat $1 per ticket paid by the buyer, and processing included in the supporter total.
What does a $25 ticket net the organizer on each?
On Fund My Squad the buyer pays $27.09 and the organizer receives $25. On RallyUp Free the buyer pays $25 (plus any tip they add) and the organizer receives $23.98 after processing; on Flex the organizer receives about $23.25 after the 2.9% ticketing fee and processing.
Can a booster club that isn't a nonprofit use RallyUp?
Yes, if it raises for a charitable purpose; RallyUp accepts youth sports, PTOs and similar groups but not personal causes. Fund My Squad accepts any group, including individuals and for-profit businesses.
Does RallyUp pre-select a tip?
RallyUp says its Free-plan tip is suggested, not pre-selected, and we treat it that way in the calculator. Fund My Squad pre-selects a tip on donations only, never above 10% and capped at $25, with "No tip" always a visible button; tickets never pre-select a tip.
Can I switch from RallyUp mid-season?
Yes. Export your supporter list from RallyUp as a CSV and import it into the Fund My Squad donor CRM. Neither platform has a contract or cancellation fee.
