FundMySquad is a modern fundraising platform built for youth sports organizations, teams, schools, and community groups. Create campaigns, collect donations, sell products, and manage your team — all from one easy-to-use platform.

FundMySquad is currently available only to US-based organizations and individuals. Fundraiser accounts can only be created by US-based entities, and donations must be made using US-based payment methods.

Sign up, verify your email, and follow our guided setup wizard. You'll enter your team info, set a goal, choose campaign dates, upload images or video, and invite team members. You can launch in minutes.

We support donation-based campaigns (one-time and recurring), product sales fundraisers (merchandise, popcorn, candy, etc.), and hybrid campaigns that combine donations with product sales.

Permitted uses include team equipment and uniforms, travel expenses for tournaments, registration fees and league dues, facility rentals, coaching costs, and scholarships for athletes in need.

It is free to create and launch a fundraiser, and Fund My Squad charges a 0% platform fee — organizers keep 100% of what they raise apart from card processing costs. The platform is funded by optional tips supporters can choose to add at checkout. Standard Stripe payment processing fees still apply (2.9% + $0.30 for card payments), and donors can choose to cover those so you receive the full amount. Fee breakdowns are shown transparently before every donation.

Yes! Donors have the option to voluntarily cover the Stripe processing fees so that more of their donation goes directly to your team.

Donors visit your fundraiser page and can make a one-time or recurring monthly donation using any major credit card or supported payment method. The process is secure, powered by Stripe, and donors receive an instant receipt.

Yes. Donors can opt to donate anonymously. Their name won't appear on your donor wall, but the donation still counts toward your goal.

Yes! Donors can set up automatic monthly donations. They can modify, pause, or cancel their recurring donation at any time through their account settings.

Funds are paid out to your US bank account through Stripe Connect. You'll need to complete identity verification (government-issued ID, US address, and US banking details) before receiving any payouts.

Donations are held securely in your connected Stripe account while your fundraiser runs, and released about a week after your end date. Fundraisers without an end date are released on a rolling basis roughly 30 days after funds are collected. Once released, funds reach your bank in 1-2 business days. This holding period protects organizers and donors against fraud and payment disputes.

Individual organizers must complete KYC (Know Your Customer) verification through Stripe, including government ID, address, and banking details. Organizations must also complete KYB (Know Your Business) verification with their legal name, type, tax ID, and address.

Invite players, parents, coaches, and other team members via email or SMS. Each member gets their own shareable profile page and individual contribution goal.

Yes! The platform includes real-time leaderboards and member dashboards showing individual goals, progress, and donation totals.

The Shop feature lets you sell physical products (like popcorn, candy, or team merchandise) to raise money. Customers place orders, pay through Stripe, and proceeds go toward your fundraising goal. Shipping is currently US-only.

FundMySquad provides email notifications, SMS messaging, in-app team chat, push notifications, and automated reminders to keep donors and team members engaged throughout your campaign.

You can send invitations, updates, and reminders via text message. Recipients can reply STOP to opt out, START to opt back in, or HELP for support at any time. Standard message and data rates may apply.

The Donor Wall publicly displays supporters (unless they donated anonymously), showing donation amounts and messages. It encourages additional contributions and provides recognition for your team's supporters.

We use encryption for all data in transit (TLS/HTTPS), secure authentication through AWS Cognito, PCI-compliant payment processing through Stripe, sanctions screening against OFAC lists, automated transaction monitoring for fraud, and campaign risk rating with manual review for high-risk campaigns.

Donations are generally non-refundable except in cases of fraud, sanctions violations, or at FundMySquad's sole discretion. Donations involving prohibited jurisdictions are automatically refunded.

Minors under 18 must have a parent or guardian manage their account and provide consent. We collect only the minimum necessary information for participation. Parents can review, modify, or delete their child's information at any time.

An Organization is a larger entity like a sports league or school district. Programs are sub-units within an organization, such as individual teams or divisions. Each program can run its own fundraisers while being managed by organization leadership.

Affiliates earn a share of the optional tips generated by organizers they refer. When someone signs up through an affiliate's tracking link and runs a fundraiser, supporters can choose to add a tip at checkout, and the affiliate earns a percentage of those tips — 15% on the standard campaign. Affiliates are never paid out of an organizer's donations, and referring someone never reduces what that organizer receives. Sign up at affiliate.fundmysquad.com.

The Partner Program allows platforms (like league management software or team apps) to integrate FundMySquad's fundraising functionality via our API. Partners earn commission on fundraisers created through their integration. Visit our Partners page to apply.

Yes. You can delete your account at any time through your account settings or by contacting support@fundmysquad.com.

Your dashboard shows real-time donation totals, conversion rates, top donors, team member progress, geographic data, and detailed donation history. Reports can be exported for record-keeping and accounting.

Every campaign receives an automatic risk rating. High-risk campaigns are held for manual review by our team before going live. You'll be notified of the review status, and the campaign will launch once approved.
