Are dues tax-deductible?

No. Dues pay for a service your athlete receives, so they are not tax-deductible, and Fund My Squad never issues a tax receipt for them. Families get a payment receipt instead.

If your organization is a 501(c)(3), the optional donation a family can add at dues checkout is deductible. It is recorded as a real donation and receipted separately, so a family can file the donation without the dues.
