Collecting dues

Dues are registration or season fees your families owe — separate from fundraising, and usually the first money a team collects each year. Fund My Squad takes no platform fee on dues; the only cost is Stripe card processing.

Setup:

1. Go to **Dues** in your organization dashboard and choose **New dues plan**

2. Name it something families will recognize, and pick the program and teams it covers

3. Set the amount each athlete owes

4. Choose whether families pay in full, in installments, or either

5. Decide who covers the processing fee — the family at checkout, or the team

6. Add the questions you need answered: jersey size, emergency contact, a waiver

7. Open it for enrollment

Your Stripe account has to be able to receive payouts before a plan can open. Until then you can build and save it as a draft.
